Our story
What
Why
We didn’t meet anywhere fancy, there wasn’t a slow motion run towards each other, with harps and a choir singing. There were shoes. Lots and lots of shoes.
We worked and met each other in Vans. Around five years ago Gina happened to stumble into Jack’s work looking for employment. Although Gina likes to deny it, as soon as she saw Jack, she was dumb struck. She knew.
We knew from very early on we had a connection that we hadn’t shared with anyone else before. We awkwardly started dating and were adamant this wasn’t a serious thing, even though secretly, we were both falling head over heels.
We had a whirlwind romance and moved in together just after a few months, we’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since.
Fast forward to now, we're engaged, we’ve travelled around the UK in our snug campervan, hiked up mountains, swam in freezing cold lakes, made a house a home and have our adorable animals to share it with… And maybe, most impressively, followed our dream together. We have this awesome photography business we're pretty darn proud of.
We’ve grown together as people over the last five years, and we simply couldn’t be without each other now.
Meet Gina
''Gina is such a loving and caring person. She has such a fun personality that is always great to be around. She always wants to make the room smile. She is a proud dog and cat mumma with a love for all animals, especially the furry cuddly ones. Since we first met, I knew there was something special about her. Being outdoors and exploring new places is one of her favourite things to do. She is a huge Disney and Harry Potter fan. In all the ways we are similar we have a lot of differences which make us great together.''
Meet Jack
''Jack couldn’t be more chilled out if you asked him to, he’s loving, kind and affectionate. Cuddles on the sofa after dinner is his favourite. Jack makes me laugh even when I don’t want to. I’m constantly giggling at the songs he makes up about the animals, and him awkwardly dancing to them. He loves music, surfing (well anything to do with the water, I’m pretty sure he has gills) Hot Rod (the movie), pizza and staying in our campervan. He is the opposite to me in many ways, but we work, and that’s why I love him.''
